Helping Families Figure Out How to Pay for Senior Care - Especially When a Home Is Involved

When a parent needs care, most families are suddenly faced with decisions they’ve never had to make before - what type of care is needed, how to afford it, and what to do with the home.

I help families navigate these decisions with clarity, so they can move forward with a plan instead of guesswork.

Hi, I’m Dale Corpus - a Senior Transition Strategist focused on helping families navigate the financial and housing decisions that come with senior care.

After more than 25 years in real estate and finance, along with earning both the SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation and RCFE Administrator certification, I started to notice a pattern: families weren’t just dealing with a move - they were trying to figure out how to pay for care, what to do with the home, and how to make the right decisions under pressure.

I saw how overwhelming that process could be, especially when emotions, family dynamics, and timing all collide.

That’s why I founded Simplify Senior Transitions - to give families a clear path forward.

My role isn’t just to help with a transaction. It’s to help you understand your options - whether that means selling, staying, or using the home strategically - so you can make the right decision for your situation with confidence.

My Values

A Little More About Me

When I’m not helping families navigate care decisions, I’m spending time with my wife and our two boys here in San Ramon, where we’ve lived since 2007. I’m a proud Bay Area native - born in San Francisco, raised on the Peninsula, and a graduate of Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

I’ve been in real estate and finance for over 25 years, starting in the mortgage industry in 2001. That background gives me a full-spectrum understanding of both the financial and emotional sides of the decisions families face during major life transitions.

Community involvement is important to me. I’m an active member of the Danville - San Ramon Rotary Club and a Trusted Network Verified Member of TenderCare, where I collaborate with other professionals who support families through care decisions.

Outside of work, I stay active with Masters swimming, Peloton rides, and hiking local Bay Area trails. One fun fact - I’m also a trained baritone singer.

I believe in living with purpose - and helping families move forward with clarity during one of life’s most important transitions.
